Hello, hi, howdy! I’m Tiona Lynn <3

My story? That’s a loaded question now isn’t it? I’m the bathroom selfie queen, the people’s choice, an only child, a lover of art and reading and the outdoors.

But in all seriousness my story is constantly evolving. A decade ago, I left the sunny beaches of California to embark on a new chapter of life in Dallas, TX and little did I know, making that bold decision would change my entire life. I had always wanted to work in Criminal Justice with the hopes of encouraging change in a broken system. I even have multiple degrees in Criminology (BA) & Criminal Justice (MS) which surprises people because I ended up in the tech start up space as a People Operations Specialist.

I also had a blog prior to this one (shoutout if you’re an OG!), but I shut it down because I was working full-time and I was also in grad school full-time with the intention of pursuing a doctorate and something just had to give, but that’s the funny thing about life. You never know where it will take you and mine clearly came full circle, so here we are again - blogging, writing, creating, connecting.

Except this time, things feel different - a good different. I’m a lot more comfortable in my skin. I’ve found my voice and I’m not afraid to use it. I’ve grown, changed, evolved, and I’m still continuing to do so but I want you along for the ride this time. This time, I still want to talk about the light hearted topics such as style, beauty and travel, but I also want to talk about the meaningful, vulnerable, deep topics - healing, acceptance, wellbeing in all forms, and leading others.

Life is messy, complicated, beautiful, joyous, and ever-evolving. This blog is about embracing all that life has to offer. It is about self-love, hardships, personal growth, trusting the journey that each of us are on. It is about welcoming the best of both worlds, toeing the line between structure and spontaneity. It is about living a semi-balanced, wild life where we collect memories that illuminate the soul, but also, find moments of tranquility where we can replenish our spirits and celebrate the simple joys life has to offer.

Most importantly, this blog will be filled with reminders that you are not alone in this whirlwind of life.
