75Hard: Week 4

29 DAYS IN! We have made it to the final week in January! 🎉 Let’s just say, I’m feelin’ it. Between 75Hard and having a fitness coach, I’m locked in. My entire identity is fitness right now, but that’s exactly what I asked for. My eating has transformed, my skin is GLOWING, and I’m starting to see real changes in my body.

You know what the craziest part is? I haven’t lost any weight, but I feel strong! We grew up in a culture, and still are in a culture, where beauty standards are based on how much you weigh, but the thing is, we can all weigh the same and still look different, and we can hold the weight in different places. And then there’s the topic of social media which is a double edged sword. On one side you have the editing, filters, and fake lifestyle, but on the other side you have the self-love influencers and the body positivity. It’s hard to find the balance.

I will say, for me personally, having a professional fitness coach by my side has truly been a game changer. She tracks my weight but doesn’t base my progress off of it, she is always looking at my measurements and tracking them against my goals ensuring that I’m losing body fat in the healthiest way possible - the foods I’m eating and how I’m moving my body.

I also finished my first book this week and started another book by Brianna Wiest titled, “The Mountain Is You: Transforming Self-Sabotage Into Self-Mastery”. I have added both books to my Amazon Storefront if you are interested in checking them out.

Macros, water, and workouts were all consistent this week as I didn’t have anything crazy going on and fell right back into my average routine. Next month, however, should be interesting with my birthday, a minor procedure (nothing serious), and a week full of traveling!
