75Hard: Week 2

15 days in, 60 more to go. Week 2 is finished and I was feelin’ the burn. I was much more tired and sore this week. It also didn’t help that on Tuesday the winds were insane in Texas and it was slamming against my windows to the point where I thought they were going to come crashing in on me. I ended up sleeping on the couch which left me exhausted on Wednesday. I almost didn’t go on my walk that morning, to save it for the afternoon, but I sucked it up and went and I was so relieved I did.

Starting my mornings with a walk has been a game changer. I have been waking up around 7-7:15am, I open my blinds, make tea, meditate, take my progress photo, get ready for my walk and get out the door by 8am. It helps me wake up and set the tone for the day.

I also started my Sesh workouts this week with a coach. I have been participating in the Sesh challenges (formerly known as Fit by Katy) on and off since 2021. However, this is the first time I have used a coach through the app. I love having a coach so far. I check in with her every Sunday with photos, my weight, measurements, water intake, average fiber, average sleep, stress levels, and questions/concerns. She has customized my macros to my fitness goals and having a coach has helped me stay accountable and really push myself. The challenge is for the next 8 weeks and I am able to do the workouts at home or in a gym. I’m also not sponsored by them but hey, if they ever read this, I’d be a great ambassador 😉💪🏻

I haven’t done much strength training since November of last year, so these work outs have been kicking my ass but it feels good to be pushing myself again! This week the temperatures are below freezing and it’s currently snowing as I write this so my one work out outside should be really interesting. Can’t wait to report back on that. I also post about my walks on my instagram stories for everyone’s entertainment in case you’ve missed them 🤪 All of this to say, week 2 was more of a challenge but I’m still feeling motivated and I’m still going strong.
