Happy Wednesday! Happy hump day! Happy middle of the week! Happy it’s almost the end of October which some of us are sad because spooky season is ending and some of us are ready to start decorating for the holidays. I’m a spooky season type of gal, but we knew this already 😉 Onto the quote!

“Sometimes you read a line from a book and it’s like something from your own head or something from your journal. And that part of you is a bit more defined, a bit sharper, and a bit easier to understand and explain to others.” - Anonymous Tumblr Blogger ✨

Let’s address the elephant in the room first, yes I still have a Tumblr and I have zero shame. My Tumblr obsession used to be SO real 😂 But in all seriousness, this quote hit me exactly like it reads. You know when you read something, or hear a song lyric, or have a conversation with someone and it’s just one line that hits you like a train on a track? And you have to sit back with that line, phrase, lyric and truly just digest it? Write it down? Listen to it again? That’s the feeling of connection, of being understood, of feeling less alone. Knowing someone out there knows exactly how you are feeling in that moment whether it’s good or bad. Someone gets it and it’s the most powerful feeling.

In a world that often feels overwhelming and isolating, there is an immense power in the simple act of feeling understood. We as humans have an innate need to connect with others on a deeper level, to know that we are not alone in our experiences, thoughts, or emotions. This sense of understanding through something as simple as a sentence can bring immense comfort and solace, allowing us to navigate life's challenges with renewed strength and resilience. And all of this is why I share my story, why I am open about my ups and downs, ebbs and flows, wins, losses, and failures. In hopes that there is just one thing I say that makes someone feel less alone.

Trust your journey. Rest your soul.  Always leave people better than you found them and have an incredible day and a magical weekend! 👽🫶🏻🧿
