Hello my beautiful humans! 🌟

Happy Wednesday and HAPPY FULL MOON IN LEO! 🌝♌️ You already know full moons are all about release, clarity, and everything coming full circle, so buckle up because today’s story is WILD.

I had a completely different quote picked out for today, but something happened yesterday that stopped me in my tracks. The kind of thing that makes you stare at the sky like, okay, universe, I see you. So, naturally, I had to switch things up.

Here’s today’s quote:

"Things usually happen the way they’re supposed to. Oftentimes, rejection is redirection, closed doors are protecting you from what’s lurking around the corner. Plans fall through because better things are coming in. The wrong people pass by because the right ones are moving closer. Adopting this mindset will set you free. It will liberate you from living in the past and rescue you from ruminating over all the things that didn’t happen the way you hoped they would. Remember my friend; things usually happen exactly the way they’re supposed to." — Anonymous ✨

We’ve talked about how 2024 was A LOT, but 2025? Things are shifting. Aligning. Falling into place. And yesterday was proof of that in the craziest way.

So, if you saw my Instagram story, this might be a rerun, but stick with me. I promise it’s worth it.

Okay, flashback to June 2024. I interviewed for a role at a company I really wanted to work for. I made it all the way to the final round - CEO interview and everything. I crushed it. I walked away from every conversation thinking, Yep, this is it. This is my moment. I manifested that role, did all the things, truly believed it was mine.

And then…I got a rejection email.

Oof.

I was devastated. I cried. I thought, “That was supposed to be my fresh start. That was my way out.” And yet, the door slammed shut.

Now, fast forward to yesterday. My CEO announced an acquisition. Guess what company we acquired?

Yep. The company I interviewed for back in June.

And guess who’s joining my company now? Every single employee from that acquisition.

Had I gotten that role, I would have left my company (my last day at my current company is this Friday)…only to end up back here eight months later. Talk about a full-circle moment. Can you imagine? Me, walking back in like, Heyyyyy, I’m back! 👋🏼😂 How fucking awkward 😩

But here’s the thing: this was the reminder I didn’t know I needed. The undeniable proof that rejection really is redirection. That what feels like a setback is often just a setup for something better. That things are always working behind the scenes, even when we can’t see it yet.

And I know that’s the hardest part, right? The not knowing. The waiting. The moments where you’re questioning why something didn’t work out, when you gave it your all. When it felt like it was supposed to be yours. It’s frustrating. It’s confusing. It’s human to want answers now.

But here’s what I’ve learned: sometimes, the answers don’t come right away. Sometimes, they take months. Maybe even years. But when they do? Ohhh, do they hit differently. Because suddenly, all those puzzle pieces that didn’t make sense before? They snap into place so perfectly that you can’t help but sit back and think, Wow. It was never falling apart. It was always coming together.

So, if you’re holding onto something that didn’t go your way - whether it’s a job, a relationship, an opportunity - take a deep breath. Loosen your grip. Maybe it wasn’t meant for you, or maybe it just wasn’t meant for you yet. Maybe there’s something even better on its way, but first, you have to make space for it.

Trust the timing. Trust your journey. Even when it doesn’t make sense. Especially when it doesn’t make sense. Because one day, the clarity will come. The full-circle moment will arrive. And when it does? You’ll be staring at the sky, laughing, shaking your head, saying, Okay, universe. I see you. 💫

And that, that’s when you’ll know. It was always unfolding exactly as it was meant to.

Trust your journey. Rest your soul. Always leave people better than you found them, and have a wonderful day and [hopefully] a long, fun holiday weekend ahead! 👽🫶🏻🧿
