Hellooooo my beautiful humans! Happy Wednesday. We are officially half way through the first month of the new year. Also, did you know that this week was the first full moon of 2025? If you didn’t, I’ll try to remind you next month when it’s happening! 🌝 Anyways, let’s get into the quote shall we?

“However you choose to live your life just know one thing for certain: Someone is going to be disappointed. So the choice before you is ‘who’? And here is the whole truth of it: It really shouldn’t be you.” - David Gate ✨

Okay, let’s pause for a moment and take that in. Isn’t it so freeing yet so challenging all at once? Because if we’re being honest, pleasing everyone is like chasing a mirage in the desert. The more we run after it, the further it slips away leaving us tired, frustrated, and parched for some authenticity.

But here’s the truth I want you to take in today: You are a one-of-a-kind reflection of the wonder, magic, and possibilities of life. Nobody else can replicate you. Your values, quirks, and dreams—they are the vibrant threads that create the beautiful masterpiece of you. Trying to twist or shape yourself to fit someone else’s expectations? That’s like covering a stunning painting with a filter that dulls its brilliance.

Yes, life is about compromise and evolution. Relationships and growth often call for shifting, adjusting, and adapting. But here’s the kicker: You can embrace change without losing yourself. Staying true to your core - the things that light you up, the values you hold dear, the voice inside that says, “This feels right” - isn’t just important. It’s essential.

Does it take bravery? Absolutely. There will be moments when others don’t understand your choices. You might have to say “no” to things you once said “yes” to or set boundaries that weren’t there before. And that can feel so uncomfortable. But discomfort is often where courage is born. The kind of courage that says, “I’m choosing me, even if it’s hard.”

So, what does choosing yourself look like? Maybe it’s prioritizing rest when "hustle culture" tells you to keep grinding. Maybe it’s pursuing that passion project even though people don’t “get it.” Maybe it’s wearing the bold outfit, starting the hard conversation, saying “no” to something that doesn’t align with your values, or even ending a relationship that no longer serves you. Whatever it is, let it feel like you. Let it resonate with who you are and who you want to be.

Because here’s the thing: When you disappoint yourself to please others, you’re building a life that’s out of alignment with your truth. But when you’re brave enough to honor who you are - even if it’s messy, even if it’s misunderstood - you’re creating a life that feels authentic and whole.

So today, I challenge you: Choose you. Make choices that reflect your values, your needs, and your dreams. You are worthy of living a life that feels true to who you are - a life that celebrates the one-of-a-kind miracle that is you.

Sending you all the love and courage, my beautiful humans. Until next time, don’t forget to let your light shine and your authenticity roar. You’ve got this.

Trust your journey. Rest your soul. Always leave people better than you found them, and have a remarkable day and a sensational weekend ahead! 👽🫶🏻🧿
