Hey hey! Happy Wednesday! Did you know yesterday was World Mental Health day? Well if you didn’t, you do now. I just want to remind you that I’m always here for you and I’m proud of you for making it to today.
“Never underestimate your ability to impact another human. I can tell how little some people think they matter by the awful things they say to strangers.” - Frances Berry Moreno ✨ Instagram: @where_is_frances
There is a reason why my life motto is “leave people better than you found them”. You’ve heard it before, but I will say it again… you NEVER know what someone is going through. The smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest impact. Think about a time when you were having a shit day and out of no where without knowing what type of day you’re having someone says something kind, or maybe the person in front of you at Starbucks buys your drink, or maybe your significant other did all the laundry and put it away (unlikely, but maybe?!), or something is said to remind you that it’s a bad day, not a bad life. It has the potential to turn your entire outlook around. It has the potential to impact you in a way, that you want to give that kindness back to others.
Okay but the second half of that quote… let’s talk about it real quick! It definitely goes back to last week when we discussed how negativity bleeds into our lives if we allow it. Also, what others say and do is a result of their own unhappiness, trauma and perception. Because truly what does saying something negative about someone else really do for us? It doesn’t empower us, it doesn’t bring us success, it certainly doesn’t build character or fulfill us. It exposes our personal insecurities and pinpoints facets of our lives where we feel inadequate.
Trust your journey. Rest your soul. Always leave people better than you found them and have a boo-tiful day and a fang-tastic weekend! 👽🫶🏻🧿🎃
